Hi, I’m Aneta.

I think of myself as a mother, an entrepreneur, a branding consultant, and a product of Eastern Europe. In this order.

My life and my professional career are tributary to a strong intuition, a relentless drive to move things forward, and to having been raised in a challenging communist and post-communist transformative environment.

This may sound deceivingly simple from the perspective of my academic and professional credentials and extensive marketing experience: I graduated Economics at ASE Bucharest and hold an MBA from Open University Business School (UK). I am a Chartered Marketer and the first Romanian expert to be a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). I have practiced marketing and branding consultancy on the local and international emergent markets (CEE, Asia, Africa) for over 26 years. I am the author of “Branding on the Eastern Front” (a best-seller in the Romanian edition), conference speaker, and juror of national and international design and branding competitions.

I founded Brandient in 2002, leaving behind a decade-long corporate career in marketing and communication, with no other golden parachute than fulfilling my professional dream.

Here I am 16 years later (and counting).
